Travelled from Copacabana to Le Paz. Am still finding this travelling thing very strange, every place is so different and their lifestyles are so different to ours, its hard to describe. Most people just set up stalls on the street and spend all day and night just trying to sell their goods, such a hard way of life.
The journey to Le Paz was interesting, we had to get off the bus and onto a tiny boat which barely came out of the water to cross the lake and then get onto the bus again, even weirder was seeing the bus attached to a kind of raft boat thing (see photo), it was swaying all over the place and all our luggage was on top of the bus! Apparently Herdy knew this was going to happen but didn't tell me as knew i would panic!
Anyway arrived in La Paz and was pleasantly surprised as was not that cold and this was meant to be one of our coldest places (haven't worn my thermals yet although nights are very cold and having a luke warm shower and then getting out into a v cold room is not fun!).
Just pottered around here, not that much to do and not feeling that well, did have a night out and found an English bar that did a lovely toasted sandwich!
