Yellowstone was the last planned tourist stop of our trip. From here we are just trying to make tracks toward my parents house in Grants Pass. We're about a 16 hour drive away from there. I had to get my oil changed this morning about 70 miles down the highway in a town called Pocatello. There is a Lithia service center there so I can take advantage of my lifetime oil change and save myself $75 or $80. We pulled into the service center about 10am without an appointment. They said we would have to leave the truck with them and they would try to get to it as soon as they could find an opening in their schedule. They had us drop the trailer behind the building. The guy at the counter spoke highly of a diner across the way where we could get some good home cookin'. We were ready for breakfast so we headed that way and ate real good. Afterward we walked back over and found the truck all finished and ready for us. The whole ordeal took us about 1-1/2. After the routine inspection they said I need to get my differential serviced (again) and they found a small oil leak....great.... My truck is getting a work out.

We had a very boring drive through Idaho. The only thing we saw of interest was when we drove a scenic route off of I84 through Shashone Falls. We stopped and viewed the falls from a lookout but didn't pay the money to drive down to them. They did look pretty cool. We were trying to make Boise before dark and although it was 100 deg, we chose not to hang out and swim in the Snake River today.

We pushed onward and made it into this RV park, just to the other side of Boise, where we can get laundry done and, since they have wifi, I can catch up the blog.

Hey guys looks like fun! Violet, hang in there. You don't want summer to go by too quick! Geez I always tried to squeeze every last drop out of summer - remember school comes with homework too! No rush to do too much of that I reckon.
