Violet has made this transition much easier then we had initially thought. She sort of made her own space on the sofa bed in the living room area. She will come home from school and usually put on some music. Then get all her "gear" (cel phone, homework, nail polish, etc...) spread out on her bed and get to working on whatever. We now have a volleyball court setup too. She actually really likes this life so far, but she still is not excited about leaving on the roadtrip for 10 weeks. She's learned to simplify as we all have. Although, this way of living is a far cry from "roughing it", with our cel phones, electricity and video games, etc..., it's definitely a huge lesson in downsizing and it's refreshing to see Violet adapt so well. As you can tell....I'm really proud of her.
