382 Miles Today: Greetings from the Yukon Territory! What a day we had today. We left the campground after a good breakfast and headed toward the Laird river hot springs. We figured we could really use a good soaking after the week of riding we've had. It was well worth the stop. We all soaked for about a half hour and we couldn't take much more. One end of the pool was 105 degrees and the other was 133.

We left the hot springs for Watson Lake to hang a sign for the Public House. When we got there the whole town was a smokie haze. Here we find out that there three major forest fires in the area. But we were on a mission for the PH, so no forest fire was going to stop us. We hung the sign in a great spot facing the road, snapped a few pictures, and were back on the road.

Our original goal today was white Horse, but we had so many stops today, so we settled for Teslin. About 120 miles short of our goal. We wanted to get a hotel room for the night, but the rooms were $90.00 and i wouldn't let my dogs sleep in there. So we ended up camping again. It cost us $15.00 Canadian, thats $15.00 American..:) Kevin got a 6 pack of Bud($14.00) ) for us to drink while we set up Camp Cleveland.
