Very glad to get out of JFK, our terminal was shite we have decided, only concrete chairs to sit on and everything was shut. Not a fun 7 hours. It was an amazing flight down into Panama, lots of cloud but you could see mountains and rainforests and an egret so lucky to have a window seat. Copa Airlines, Panamas national airline is nice really and did quite good food for breakfast, I think I got a bit of plantain with my scrambled eggs...
Panama airport was very nice, I had Mountain Dew yay!!!! My family, especially Nic will know all about how scrummy it is...and hard to find outside America. We found out that Panama and thus Peru doesnīt do daylight savings so is acutally 6 hours behind UK, so facotr that in if you try and get hold of me...but that meant we had more time than thought to catch connection to Lima, and they checked us in in JFK.
Thatīll do about Panama, read on next page for Lima! Oh and I forgot to say I got frisked at Heathrow jusst before plane, I even had to have my shoes searched. Then at JFK everyone has to take their shoes off and stuff its crazy. And we had to fill in all these immigration forms and customs forms and is all so tedious...
