Paragliding program for experienced pilots combined group
This program combines two main ideas – paragliding and mountaineering. If you love to open new possibilities for this cool combination, if you prefer new areas for making flight route discovers instead of good-known places, if you are real pilot-explorer who don’t feel anxious about making ascents, if you belong to those kinds of travelers who hunger for pure emotions and mysterious lands – then this program for you!
Route legs: Tashkent/Bishkek - Osh - Alay valley - Kashka-Su village - «Edelweiss Glade»
Under Lenin peak - Alay valley - Taldyk pass - Osh - Tashkent
Duration: 21 days / 20 nights (Option 1)
18 days / 17 nights (Option 2 and 3)
Program of the tour «Alay Cross Country»:
Day 1. 1)Meeting at Tashkent airport. Transfer to Osh (400km, 5h). Accommodation at hotel.
2)Meeting at Bishkek airport. Flight to Osh. Accommodation at hotel.
3)Meeting at Osh airport. Accommodation at hotel.
Day 2. Transfer Osh - Kashka-Su village (Alay valley) by Pamir high road – 300km, 8h, 3000m. Accommodation at national house (or at tent – at will). Area examination.
Day 3. Drive to the Eastern direction of Alay valley up along Kyzyl-Suu river and further - towards Kindyk pass under Skobelev peak 5069m (Alay ridge near Kichik Alay ridge) – 15km, ~ 4000m. Cross-country or descent flights from close slopes and summits at fit weather and atmospheric conditions. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes. Return back to Kashka-Su village.
Prevail wind direction: common direction is West, in local valleys of Alay range direction is more South-West.
Expected landing points: easy goal is get landing at the widest fit places of spurs or Kyzyl-Su river valley.
Day 4. Drive to the Eastern direction of Alay valley up along Kyzyl-Suu river and further - towards Sary-Mogol pass(4303m, Alay ridge near Kichik Alay ridge) – 36km, ~ 4000m. Cross-country or descent flights from close slopes and summits at fit weather and atmospheric conditions. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes. Return back to Kashka-Su village.
Prevail wind direction: common direction is West, in local valleys of Alay range direction is more South-West.

Day 5. Drive to adjacent gorge towards Jiptyk pass (4185m, Alay ridge near Kichik Alay ridge) – 36km, ~ 4000m. Cross-country or descent flights from close slopes and summits at fit weather and atmospheric conditions. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes. Return back to Kashka-Su village.

Day 6. Drive to the Eastern direction of Alay valley up along Kyzyl-Suu river and further - towards Kindyk pass under Skobelev peak 5069m (Alay ridge near Kichik Alay ridge) – 15km, ~ 4000m. Cross-country flights to Eastern direction as far as possible along Alay range. Return back to Kashka-Su village.

Day 7. Drive to the Eastern direction of Alay valley up along Kyzyl-Suu river from Kashka-Suu village via Archa-bulak village to Sary-Tash village - 40?45 km. Cross-country or descent flights from close slopes and summits at fit weather and atmospheric conditions. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes.

Day 8. Drive to the Western direction of Alay valley down along Kyzyl-Suu river near Jilma village. Ascent to slopes below Tiuz-Ashuu pass (4276m). Flights to Alay valley. Cross-country flights at fit weather and atmospheric conditions. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes to Eastern direction along the main range as far as possible. Return back to Kashka-Su village.

Day 9. Drive to the Western direction of Alay valley down along Kyzyl-Suu river to the Kyzyl-Eshme village and further – towards Jany-Jer pass (3996m, Alay ridge near Kichik Alay ridge) – 35km, ~ 3500m. Or drive to the better working place at present weather conditions for the taking off. Cross-country flights at fit weather and atmospheric conditions. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes. Return back to Kashka-Su village.

Day 10. Transfer to the «Edelweiss Glade» (Achik-Tash river valley) - 30km, 3600m. Accommodation at yurt or at tent. Acclimatization hikes and area examination. Attempts of flights.
Prevail wind direction: very unstable wind direction and weather conditions.
Expected landing points: along Achik-Tash valley or Petrovsky glacier valley.
Day 11. Ascent to Petrovsky peak’s ridge (4000m). Attempts of flight down or cross-country or descent flights – at present situation.

Day 12. Ascent to 4244m peak (or its slopes). Attempts of flight down or cross-country flights – at present situation.
Prevail wind direction: very unstable wind direction and weather conditions.
Expected landing points: along Achik-Tash valley or Petrovsky glacier valley.
Day 13. One day hike (without flights). At good weather conditions and not high level of snow cover – ascent to Puteshestvennikov pass (4150m) and further – at will - to Lenin glacier (up to 4400m). Return back to the «Edelweiss Glade».
Day 14. Investigation and execution of new cross-country routes from slopes of Zaalay ridge spurs.
Day 15. Reserve day for bad weather.
Day 16. Reserve day for bad weather.
Day 17. Transfer: «Edelweiss Glade» - Taldyk pass – Osh. Accommodation at hotel. Festive farewell dinner.
Day 18. 1)Transfer Osh – Tashkent (400km, 5-6h). Accommodation at hotel. After midday – sightseeing around Tashkent.
2)Transfer to airport. Flight Osh – Bishkek. Flight home.
3)Transfer to airport. Flight home.
Final day of the option 2 and 3. Further – for the option 1.
Day 19. Transfer Tashkent – Charvak lake (900m, Western Tien-Shan, Chatkal ridge srups, Chimgan mountain massif) – 85km, 1.5h. Accommodation at hotel on Charvak lake shore. Drive to the start ground above Charvak lake. Flights. Return to the hotel.

Day 20. Transfer to Beldersay tract (1500m, Western Tien-Shan, Chatkal ridge srups, Chimgan mountain massif) – 20km, 30min. Chair-lift tour to the up station of the Beldersay chair-lift rope way (2200m, 27min). Cross-country flight in immediate proximity to the Big Chimgan summit (3309m) towards Charvak lake.
Prevail wind direction: West, North-West.
Expected landing points: according guide’s information
Day 21. First half of the day – thermal-dynamic flights above Charvak lake (at will). Transfer to Tashkent. Transfer to airport. Departure home.
