In the photo album attached to this entry are pictures of the City, There are pictures of Eyre Square (pronounced Air Square), Shop and Quay St. (Pronounced Key St) this is where all the small stores, cafes, and awesome pubs are, then the Spanish Arch (which is one of the oldest monuments in Galway), The Corribe River, Salt-hill, and also the poster card shots of the bay. The first night here was amazing, Rebbecca, Sara, Pat, and myself went to the pub for drinks, and then went to McDonough's Fish and Chips. At the chipper we asked some Irish guys if they knew where the Hole in the Wall pub was, since it was recommended by our friends that were over here last semester. They insisted that we go to a "real" pub and they took us to The Front Door, and ended up buying us our first Guinness's in Ireland (They are about 50 times better over here than back in the States). After a little while the girls went home, and the Irish guys insisted that Pat and I go with them to the club. This had to be the best club I have ever been too, if your in Galway you need to check out CP's. While at the club the Irish guys, (they were also in their mid twenties) kept buying us rounds and reluctantly let us buy a few rounds. All in all it was one of the best nights I have ever had going out. What's even funnier about this story was about 3 days later we were walking home from the city and this car pulled over and rolled down the window and it was Anthony, one of the guys we met the first night.
