Just a quick post to let everyone know the deal.

So, was not feeling to good at the start of the week as we have been on the road for like 3 Weeks and getting pretty sick of eating out like 24/7.
Any way, had the Maine orientation where we were supposed to have drinks and chill out.
There were no alcoholic beverages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Boo.
Anyway, not to worry, I had my orientation today where I met a bunch of international students from all around the globe!! Pretty amazing, There are over 500 international students from everywhere such as Germany, China, Nigeria, Nepal, Scotland, Thailand, America and Australia. I am the only student from Australia.

I made friends with a cool chick from Belgian.... Iako. We have been hanging out at her dorm room and getting lunches.
Lunches in American University are mind blowing.
You put money on your card and than the possibilities are endless....
Burger bar, salad bar, wrap bar, smoothie bar, pizza bar, Mexican bar.... and vegan bar!! Hooray.
And that;s just one place to get food.

There is 4 places to get food and each have a bar. (Fuk yeah). Also I forgot to mention a saw a squirrel on the way to class and the university is surrounded by a lake on one side and a forest on the other.
Pretty neat!!!

I went to a few faculty sites today with other student and the welcoming was lovely. Everyone suggesting new sites to see and everyone suggesting things to do and hikes!! So, hopefully I can take these people up on their offers. I also met another women from Colorado, who has moved here with her boyfriend and knows no one! She is keen to meet some younger people and hang out. We exchanged numbers and will catch up.

Later when I got home, Jordan's bike had arrived! Exciting. He is a new man. Than we headed out to Bangor where we listening to a 3 piece band and had an Indian! Our first in America. It was first class.
We ended up at another wicked pub (real artsi) with paintings and............................................................................................................ a pug!!
Also a band. What a bloody brilliant pub, cheap beers, good music, great display of art and a beaut Pug on the antique leather couch.

Seriously guys? Is there anything better than this in the world???

P.S:Off to look at 2 apartments tomorrow! Fingers crossed they are sweet deals!!!

Miss you all + our pets + 10 x 10000 !!!
