I'm so happy I found the brochure about this photo exhibition in the Echternach tourist info bureau, a completely different town!

Clervaux itself turned out to be a beautiful little town. And I love driving in Luxembourg's hilly countryside so on this rainy day it was a perfect excuse for doing just that.
There was a market on when I arrived and I bought a new custom-made belt.

Family of Man - Clervaux castle
The photo exhibition is one that was composed for the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1955. It's a humanitarian expo called "Family of Man", showing the likeliness in emotions  and  actions of people all around the world. With pictures by famous photograpers such as Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau and more.

Stunning images in their own right, and put together they also deeply touch the feeling of how we're all the same.

If you go there: bring a scarf, it was pretty cold inside this castle museum.

Clervaux also has a museum about World War 2 in that same castle, and apparently there is also a big convent you can visit but I didn't get round to that.
