The whole purpose of the trip, to see Wicked, was about to be fulfilled.  Great seats in the Oriental Theatre at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts.  A beautiful old theatre with lots of bling and detailing.  Yes we had drinks. No they wouldn't let us take them to our seats.  Yes we bought more merchandise.  No you can never have enough Wicked stuff.  The performance was great.  It is such a good story and has such a great score, it is hard to screw it up.  That said, I felt like the show we saw in Dallas was better, the stars stronger singers and all.  Then is was off to Wiener Circle for a Chicago dog.  Walk in, start yelling out your order, "Char dog with everything," and expect to be yelled at back with lots of foul language and curses thrown your way.  That is what we were told (by more than one couple-just to make sure) and that is what we did.  The response was half-hearted at best and lack-luster at most.  The more people that came in (it was almost empty when we arrived a little early for them at 11:30pm) the more energetic and sincere the cursing became however.  One of the cooks took a real shine to one of the patrons and laid into him repeatedly.  So that was nice.  I did fail to notice the change for a twenty I got for the fifty I paid with, however, so they got a very nice tip.  The dogs were fine but not worth going back for.  Upon arrival back at Sax Hotel, I thought we were going to hang out in the House of Blues Foundation Room for a while but the crew was bushed and Lisa and I found ourselves standing at the door alone.  Well, maybe tomorrow night.
