Magnificent Mile

On to shopping.  After a jaunt by Navy Pier and visit to the Charmin portable potty, we walked and shopped the Magnificent Mile for the afternoon hitting lots of great stores.  No evidence of an economic slowdown as the place was bustling and lots of folks with bags.  Not just looking, buying.  Ralph Lauren, Sak's, Louis Vuitton, Burberry's, we hit them all.  We ended up eating a late afternoon snack/early dinner at RL, the cafe attached to Ralph Lauren.  It was fairly good and the cocktails didn't suck.
