Friday morning and we decide to walk to the nearest Starbuck's and maybe breakfast along the way. Well after several blocks, we find Argo Tea Cafe instead and step into the warm, inviting interior where the pumpkin chai tea is flowing. Thus bolstered, I inquire as to a breakfast spot and told that Ronny's Original Chicago Steakhouse is the best, biggest, and cheapest breakfast around AND it is only 1 and 1/2 blocks up. Right they were it was at 100 W. Randolph St. when we looked up on the iPhone and here we were at 16 W. Randolph St. After another hour and fifteen minutes of walking back and forth, up and down Randolph St., we had to take a cab back to the hotel for a shoe change for Joyclyn and then to Ronny's on the corner of Lake and Clark, a mere 1 block NORTH of Randolph. The breakfast was solid, tasty, and massive. Plus we had really worked up an appetite.
