There are no travel warnings, nor sub zero temperatures to the next destination!  Monday at the highly anticipated hour of 0630 our plane will be leaving for Costa Rica!
I'll be making this trip with my roommate, as Kevan is stuck at home working and at school, in the damp Ontario winter as I enjoy the 28C predicted weather for our arrival in San Jose.

Different this time will be the lack of automatic spider-killer (our experiences with in-house ladybugs tells me Tarra will be no better with the beasts than I while traveling) and I've resigned myself to the knowledge that I'll be carrying my own souvenirs, all the time, in my own pack.  (Translation: I'll be bringing max $10 home!)

I've had to make an itinerary (!!) to leave behind since we're two solo girls traveling and plan (have been told) to use a shuttle from city to city (most of the time...)

Despite this ridiculous preperation (again, itinerary!?!?!????) I've yet to find the apparently necessary bodyguard named "Bruiser" for secret-service like accompaniment.  Let me know if you find one within the next week.

We're soon off for a few weeks of kayaking, hiking, surfing, sun-bathing....I better stop before I loose my ride to the airport  ;)
