The whole gang got on the bus to Vientiane (CCCD plus Peter and Ganley). Although Donny Lad was there in body, his mind was lost somewhere down the Vang Vieng tubing river! He took up nearly two seats on the way to the airport in Vientiane which made Clive's journey nice and pleasant. Craig whipped out the old portable DVD and watched a bit of the Sopranos, while Conor took Aston Villa to new heights with a bit of Champo. Compared with the crazy journey to Vang Vieng this was a picnic. We arrived at the airport with a few hours to kill. We did the usual internet session while Donny Lad had a well earned kip on the airport floor. We then headed for an over priced meal on floor number 3 before checking in and getting a few USDs for our Kip. It was time to leave Laos behind us on a great summer's evening, but the tubing was certainly a break from the norm and highly recommended.
