It took a long 24hrs of traveling in a so called V.I.P buss. More like R.I.P buss (Craig can really pick the journeys to miss) as it was cramped and not vey comfortable like the good old Leito Leito busses. 2hrs across on the boat to a beautiful island called Ko Phi Phi. We arrived and hadnt even gone to the end of the pier and people were all over us to stay in there place. We deciced to take one of the cheaper places on offe that had 3 beds. It also had a fan and no hot water. We also had about 1 million ants staying with us. They mainly lived in the Bathroom and would only venture out if we left an old sweet rapper or something on the ground.
So we had a good Kip in our Up Hill Cottage as it was called. We then headed out to where Doni thought this bar Apachi was.But it was one of the many bars that had been washed away by the Tsunami. Only a Ruin was left. We stopped in a small bar beside the old Apachis and watched a fire show and had a bucket. There were crowds passing by us in there droves heading down a path along the beach so naturally we followed them
A bit hung over we took to the beach which was beautiful bought a frisby a seemed to be able to wade out into the water for ages before it got any way deep. We went and had a good feed in a fish restaraunt whi8ch was very nice. Good Panang curry which was becomming one of Clives Favourite dishes and Conors. Chocolate and Banana Pancake on the way home. Knackered as it was so hot in Phi Phi at this time.
3rd day was same as the first only clive got lost on the way to the ATM and ended up strolling round the island trying to find his way back. (How did this happen Clive never gets lost.) On to Hippies for a real fire show this time. This is where we met Triona and Liam. Doni and Liam had a good old fashioned wrestling match in the middle of the dance floor. David and Goliath or what.
Next day we we were fairly hung over after those bloody buckets. Clive went for a bit of a stroll across the island now givin that this is not a very big island it only took 5 minutes. We then went and booked a tour for the next day with a funny girl in a travel agents. So went for a feed and took it easy as we were up early to get the boat to a few places around the the area with a bit of snorkaling and Kyaking
First stop Maya Bay where the Beach was filmed. But as it was such a tourist trap now it was swamped with people and litter so for usit was a bit of a let down. We had a three man Kyak in a two man Kyak, More of a sinker than floater. From a distance it was cool bay up close not so. Next it was on to a Wiking cave also Known as a Viking cave. Aparently there are some rare birds in there that you pay alot to collect there spit and rub it on your self. Next to Shark point for a bit of snorkling. No sharks to be seen but some cool fish nand visability. Then on to Bamboo Island which was the Highlight as there was not as many tourists here and the water was clearer. a few pencil dives and a bit walking on water ay Conor. One with nature as usual. Back to monkey Island where at this stage we were burnt and too hot so like the good Irish we stayed in the shade. Then back to dry land to meet up with Craig and Anne who had arrived in from Krabi that Morning.
After meeting up with Anne and Craig in their luxury hotel it was time to eat. A small Thai restaurant which we were recommended was to be the place. After this we went to Appachies for a few Buckets which Anne had never had before. Let's just say 1 bucket got the better of her. On to hippies where Craig burnt Donnie's sandals or a pair of yellow sandals which he told Donnie were his. So Donnie didn't like this and went straight for Craig's Flip Flops and burnt them
Next day it was a hung over day and a feed in a Pizza joint that was so slow it was laughable even more so because it was out door and raining. It was homeward bound and said our yet again good buys to Anne and Craig.
Next morning it was off to Ko Phanagng for the full moon but not before we got drenched heading for the boat in a good Monsoon Shower.

Boat trip - Get Da Boat
. These people led us to a bar that was going to become a regular haunt for us and was called Hippies. Great fire show, few dodgy pool tables and a dance floor on the beach. That night we were there it lashed rain and Conor went for a bit of a rain dance. Nice.A bit hung over we took to the beach which was beautiful bought a frisby a seemed to be able to wade out into the water for ages before it got any way deep. Fire Starter
. Craig found this out and through the other one in the sea. Now Craig was doubly annoyed because he hadn't actually burnt Donnie's just a pair that looked like his. Anyway the story ends with Craig having no flip flops and 1 Dancing Drunk Girlfriend and Donnie for a change went home intact with everything including a smile on his face. Is this a story of the boy who cried wolf?Next day it was a hung over day and a feed in a Pizza joint that was so slow it was laughable even more so because it was out door and raining.
