We landed in Thailand with a Bang a Bangkok that is. Stepped off the plane expecting it to be a bad airport but infact it was descent. Through customs and out to get a taxi to Koa San road which was horrible and full of hawkers, to see if there was any space in the wonderful D&D Inn we had heard so much about. There was, but only 2 double beds so we took it any way. Quick power nap then it was down to the local Gullivers to try a bucket and a bit of pool where the ladies seemed to have control of the pool tables and continued to take money off us. Enough of that another bucket then off to the dance floor. We got split up and ended up in different clubs. Craig and Doni witnessed an angry Portarican who wasn't a big child lover. Clive managed to find a club where if you pay in in 4s you get a free litre of whiskey. Conor was found chillin the beans out side. There was a reunion of the four boys and we headed home.
The next day we were up and almost at em as we were quite hungover

Carlton Crew

. We went to the Siam Center which is a very posh shopping center. But we asked a taxi man to take us to the MBK which we thought we were now in. So we couldn't understand why people thought it was a horrible big Market. We went to the cinema any way to see Hancock in the five star screen. We got blankets a Waiter and a reclining chair. Dodgy popcorn though. To our surprise it was a decent old flick. But we were down in the front of the cinema and there was a weird film with music n loads of Thai people in it. It was the national anthem and when we looked around everyone was standing but us. Weak performance on our behalf.
That evening we had dinner in Sizzler's which was an absolute disaster. Conor ordered a steak and it was about the size of a 2baht piece with a big stick in it. We had a good laugh at that.
We brought Donnie lad back some food as he hadn't made it out of bed yet, a bucket in the room and back to Gullivers.
The last night we took it easy and got some good cheap food in a near by restaurant. We were to head to Khantanburi the next day.
