Bali was cool spot just surfing and drinking. We got a hotel close to the beach with pool and reasonably priced. 8 euro a night. 1st night we got there we had a quiet one as we arrived at 12 at night but next Day Craig went for a surf while we went and updated our facebooks by saying were chilling in Bali Craig did so later. This let all other facebookers know we were in Bali thinking we were Cool being the only ones there but little did we know so were a few others. The likes of Jammer or one James Maher, his cousin Shovels (Steve) and there mate DOF(Dan). We met them just before they went to the Gili Islands. We had a beer or two with them while watching Ireland v Australia. Ireland lost and we hit Havana a place that became a regular joint because it did good western food. The boys went home because they were up early. So we hit the town Espresso our first port of call where the band could do impressions of any band they sang if you closed your eyes you would think you were at whoever's concert. A few whiskeys later we found ourselves in a bar called Bounty

. Shaped like a Pirate ship upstairs, there was Mutiny that night as Conor and Craig took to to the stage to give us that good old Rendition of 3am we hadn't heard in so long, since the last Duet with Alex I believe in Queenstown.
The next night Craig discovered another friend was over in Bali named Tom Gillespie. Craig met up with him while others rented DVDS. Good night all round.
Chill out day by the pool was in order while Craig had surf. Another Quiet one few DVDs. This is where we discovered an Intermission like DVD called In Bruge. What a retarded funny film. Bruge is a Shithole don't go is the only tip I can give about this Film
Craig and Clive took to the streets to buy some new clothes and this is where we found the legendary Hawker Harry Potter. Or this is what he called him self. We bought clothes off him and sent the two others down too him. Conor used him on a number of occasions. But the bad thing about doing so much business with him was we had to pass him every day to get to the beach and he would grab us and annoy us till we bought something else from his stand. We had to run or hide behind our towels just to get by him, it was a nightmare. That evening we all decided to give Surfing a go since boards were 3 euro for a day and the Surf was always perfect for beginners. Weird. Craig gave us a few lessons but we were fairly rubbish but eager.
A trip to Uluwattu was on the cards with Craigo around. We didn't want to see this temple we even tried Bribes but he really wanted to go so in the end this is what we did. Got close to it by sunset and had a good view no monkeys like we were promised. We went out that night back to the Bounty after a few cheap Mansion House Whiskeys and a DVD.
Took it easy the next day because we had to be up early to go to the Gili Islands.
