Once we picked up the car off Thrifty in the morning we headed off towards Cape Tribulation. Oh yeah, but first off to the Airport to get Donny Lads flight tickets stamped, and oh yeah before that though back to the hostel first to pick up the food we forgot...Organisation personified!

We had the full crew for the trip - CCCD, Grahmo, Bones, Laura, Emma, Asha, Elaine, Powers, Jenny, Sarah and Caoimhe. We all set off at different times but we were relatively close on the roads.

The 2 Thrifty jeeps spent most of the day tailing each other. Bones did his best stick his feet, head and arse out of the front window but once the lads did the cowboy rodeo yeeeee-haaaaa hoops of danger out the window he knew to back the F*ck off!.

We took the Captain Cook Highway towards Port Douglas and stopped off after a couple of hours for a stoppage. Bones, Clive and Craigo went for a swim in the river and Doni, Grahmo and Conor went for a nature walk along a dodgy bridge.

Still no sign of any Crocs or Snakes even in the Botanical walk. We did see some great beaches along the cape and the game of tip was electrifying!

Time to head back to the ignorant staff of Gilligans!
