We didīnt expect much from Puerto Natales after Punta Arenas. Our main objective was to get to El Calafate as soon as possible. We wanted to see Penguins and Glaciers in Patagonia, how hard could it be?

Well, upon arriving in Puerto Natales we found out that there was only a bus out of there the following morning much like Punta Arenas. We were doomed to another day in a small freezing town with little or no activities!

We did however find a really nice pizza joint, great food but a poor waitress in Laura!

We booked into a hostel after being poached by some local who made a bit of effort with us. Point to note is that in Patagonia the accomodation isn't so much a hostel but a person's home where you crash...In fairness though the locals in Chile are sound out so it was grand.

Again, with football on, it proved our only outlet for something to do so we watched Man City -V- Sunderland .

The Mammy of the house wished us well the following morning as we had to skip breakfast and make a run for the bus.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT WE HAD TO RETURN TO THIS HIVE OF ACTIVITY ALSO!!
