So after leaving Sao Paulo it was on to Iguazu where we hopped on another bus and Boom 17 hrs later we were there.

Our 1st encounter with the locals was a crazy God like man telling us how much he hates the Al Queada and Bin Laiden.

So it was off to a bit of a mad start. We checked into a hostel that the boys had booked before we left at 9 in the morning and before we know it we were on our way to our 1st tour at 11.  This tour was on the Brazil side and basically involved walking along parallel with the waterfall looking at it from a distance.  It gave a good panoramic shot where you could get a good view of the waterfall or waterfalls. It was as we sat and waited for the public bus a local came up to us and said why wait for the bus you not want a car. We were were waiting for the bus in a square cement bus stop that was remarkably like a cooker facing the midday sun. A car with air con that could take us all was a God Send.

This guy charged us 4 reals each (about a Euro) and offered to collect.

When we returned we got down to business and showed our skills on the football pitch where Conor showed you dont have to be fit to have a good left peg and Craig showed you dont have to be fit to sweat more liquid than the falls themselves.

We had a swim and went on to do the tour of the Itaipu dam that Cairns really wanted to see but due to bad weather we couldnt go so the local that took us to the falls earlier  brought us into a local restaurant that was unbelievable.  You paid 10 real and you could eat all you want.  Chocolate pizza beautiful steak and chicken hearts were among many of the foods that were brought to our table.

Next day we got up at 7 and headed to Argentina side with a crazy tour guide from Wolf Creek.  This guy was some chancer:  We loaded everything we own on to this Hi Ace van and set off for Argentina.  He spoke very little English and told us while we go and do this tour he will sleep in the van and mind all our stuff....after telling us his name was Al Capone/Al Pacino to which the Don siad I bleedin hope so cos Im Robert De Niro, Bang!

The falls from the Argentina side were class where we got a boat trip up under the falls where we got soaked then strolled round the different falls till we got to the big one, the Devils Throat.  This is huge and you can stand right out over it.  World class is the only thing that can describe it.

So back to the Hi Ace where wolf creek was no where to be seen.  We opened up the bus and managed to take our belongings out that if we didnt own would have been robbing them.  Sleep in the van me arse.

We were dropped off at the next hostel that looked beautiful and had a pool, pool tables, table tennis and and a big dining area.  We thought this was going to be class but because we had done all the tours and were in the middle of the jungle there was sod all to do the next day.  Rick and Sarah two people from Northern Ireland we met in Ilha Grande were there, sound couple so it was cool to see them again.

It was that evening Conor gave Clive a lesson in chess and after that Craig taught Conor a thing or two.  So later on Clive played Craig and beat him with out even loosing a piece.  Clive then played him again where he took his Queen very early on.  But failed to take the King and Craig some how after a long battle where we drew a crowd came back and won.

We also met a dude called Steve who was from Switzerland and had been traveling for 8 years. Best card trick ever. We have arranged to meet up with him Buenos Aries...mad fooker

So to sum it up other than a waterfall, an all you can eat restaraunt, a chessboard  and a dude called Steve.. Its a bit boring for three days.
