After a good night sleep, I woke up early. Ready for an other day in Mexico city!
Ingrid decided to show me around so we left to go to Coyacan, a nice neighbourhood of Mexico. It's like a small city in the city with lots of small shops, parks and sure some churchs. Very lively and colourful. I ate a Tamal Oaxaqueno, a mexican food you buy in the street. It's a mix of corn and an other ingredient. There it was mixed with chocolate, a bit weird but good!
We went to visit a typical Mexican house, in stone and with a beautiful garden. Here they're taking care of their parks and gardens that is for sure.

After an ice cream, we went to visit the castle Chapultepec (mean cricket in english). It was built in an hill and you have a beautiful view on the city I'm eating Mexican... a Temal

. First built in the 18th century, it became a military academy and, in 1847,was a scene of the battle with the US troop. The emperor Maximilian and his wife resided here during his reign (1864-7). It's now a museum with relics of the life of the Maximilian and in addition some objects depicting Mexican life until 1917.

Before going home, we stopped for lunch (at 3pm like most Mexican).I ate a tortilla with some Cecira. It's a meat very salty (couldn't find a traduction...).

Back home quite early for a quiet evening. I'm feeling so tired, maybe it's the altitude and the jetlag.

Travelling across the city takes so much time. The metro network is fine but it's always packed, whenever time you take it. Worst than in Paris!!! They have some mini buses and it's quite an adventure to take it. But they stop whenever you need to on their parcourt.
And the taxi... the typical are mini cars and they're green.
