We are excited.  Today looks like the best weather all week.  We are going to Tallulah Gorge State Park today.  We spent time in the Interpretative Center which has a good film about the gorge and views of the waterfalls.  Warning:  there are 1099 steps down into the gorge.  That means you have 1099 steps up.  You also have a choice to hike in the gorge itself.  Only 100 people are allowed to do that each day.  The ranger told us you have to jump on the rocks in the gorge and that you might get wet.  We chose not to do this.  I am apprehensive about things like this ever since I broke my ankle slipping on rocks on our Sedona trip.  Our visit to this park took 6 hours.  It is well worth it.
