We are going to Grand Teton National Park today.  We went to Jenny Lake where we caught a boat to take us to the other side.  We hiked to Jenny Falls and Inspiration Point through rocks, snow, ice, and mud.  It is a steep and scary climb, particularly when there is ice on the ground.  I broke my ankle once, hiking on rocks.  I did not want to do that again.

We next drove to Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve which is south of Jenny Lake.  We hiked a 2.9 mile trail to Phelps Lake.  It was rocky and steep in some places.  The lake was beautiful; it is serene and well worth the hike.  We sat for a long time, admiring the views.

We always identify our favorite part of our trip.
Peggy - the drive searching for Beehive Creek Trail with the beautiful scenery of snow covered land on Lone Mountain near Big Sky, Montana
Joan and Gary - the ski lift in Jackson
Carol - Fountain Paint Pots of geysers, hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles in Yellowstone National Park
Linda - the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park and Jenny Lake of Grand Teton National Park

Tomorrow, we go home and back to reality.
