We are going to Grand Teton National Park today.  We went to Jenny Lake where we caught a boat to take us to the other side.  We hiked to Jenny Falls and Inspiration Point through rocks, snow, ice, and mud.  It is a steep and scary climb, particularly when there is ice on the ground.  I broke my ankle once, hiking on rocks.  I did not want to do that again.

We next drove to Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve which is south of Jenny Lake.  We hiked a 2.9 mile trail to Phelps Lake.  It was rocky and steep in some places.  The lake was beautiful; it is serene and well worth the hike.  We sat for a long time, admiring the views.
