My sisters and I arrived at the airport for a long day of travelling.  When we arrived, we found out that the pilots and flight attendants had not had enough time off between their previous flight and this one, so our flight was delayed for two hours.  So it was waiting in the airport.  Luckily, we brought activities for us to be involved in.  Peggy worked on her laptop, I cross stitched, and Linda walked and read.  Linda is in a program at her job for a regional company to obtain 10,000 steps per day.  She is #24 for obtaining the most steps.

Eventually, we boarded our flight to Washington, DC (1 hour 47 minutes) and then from there to Denver (3 hours 48 minutes).  Following a several hour layover, we are on our way to Kalispell, Montana on a small express plane (2 hours 10 minutes).

As we approach Kalispell, the view is magnificent of the snow-capped Rocky Mountains.  The people are pleasant here.  Two security guards at the airport talked to us while we waited for the hotel van to pick us up.

It is light until close to 10 PM.
