We visted 7 Islands whilst we were here and loved every minute of it!
We had a pass that allowed us to hop on and off the boat (at which was so rough at times i was very seasick for the 1st time ever) and stay at different islands for 13 nights and spent 2 nights on the main island Nadi.
Staying in Dorms (what felt like a million bunkbeds in one large room) was an experience in itself.....people talking in their sleep....Ben waking up with a GIANT cockroach crawling across his face.... and people farting all night in their sleep ( I know your smiling reading that) was such a funny experience!!! makes me smile thinking about the disgusted look on bens face ha
The islands were all so beautiful perfect clear aqua colour seas....white beaches and the Fijians are the friendliest people....was truly the best way to end our trip.
We drank Kava which is the local Fijian drink made from a plant root and makes you feel very sleepy and giggly ( they all drink it out there) ate great food and I snorkled with the reef sharks. Most of our days were sepnt sunbathing sleeping and reading...our idea of HEAVEN!!!!
Again we met such amazing people and made some real friends fo life.
And of course the BEST part was Ben PROPOSING TO ME!!!!!!
Was totally unexpected and the best surprise i have ever had. I ruined his 1st attempt to propose on our last night...He kept asking me to go for a walk on the beach but as it was dark I kept refusing (all power is turned of early and no light whatsoever so was very scay) so off we wnet to bed. At breakfast the following morning Ben said he needed to go back to the room so i said i would follow when i'd finished
The most amazing way to end the best 4 months of my life!!! We have had the best time and done so much in the short time and will certainly be going away again. Memeories we have can never be forgotten and we are both so lucky to have shared this exeperience. Things we have seen such as the poverty and living conditions has certainly both made us realise what we have and whats important in life.
Hope you all have enjoyed the Blog......watch this space for the next one!!!
