I found the internet connection in the room.  No wi-fi but a cable that is about 16 inches long and poorly located.  But at least the dead fly cleaned up.  That was an unpleasant surprise to find in the bathroom this morning. At least it was only a fly and not a rat or something else.  The meeting went well.
The food was decent today.  Lunch hot reuben sandwich was slightly above room temperature but it was at least tasty.  The cupcakes I once desired greatly have taken a turn for the worse.  The frosting was still good but the cupcake themselves were stale.  Methinks they were at least day old.  And since there is not food service on the weekend they might even be older.  The bread pudding was a pleasant surprise.
Dinner was a surprise.  It was Mexican night with some good choices.  I went with the "fajita action bar".  What a goofy name.  It was the chef heating the meat and adding peppers, onions, spices and jalepeno, habenero or crushed red peppers.  I enjoyed it.  The extras were just ok: sour cream, guacamole, cheddar cheese, and very chunky pico de gallo.  The dessert was above average.  The blueberry crumb cake was good as was the lemon cake.  The double chocolate fudge cake was tasty.  But the schwarz wald cake was bad.  The cherry topping tasted like the can it came from while the cake was boderline.  The rest of the desserts looked lacking.  A coconut cake that barely had any coconut on it and a sopping wet tres leches cake.  Oh well.  I got my calories and found somethings worth eating.
It is all about the food right?
