Four days of amazing lagoons, countless llamas, alapcas and flamingos - some of the most breathtaking scenery I have ever seen.  So many amazing places but a few deserve a mention.  Laguna Colarada, a massive red coloured lagoon with thousands of flamigos and a backdrop of mountains was special.  The thermal springs that Bresch and I managed to have a dip in and the salt flats themselves also superb.

All in all four days of eight to ten hours in a jeep, fifth wheeling with extreme thinking time.  When in Bolivia there are ways to deal with these things...

Off back to La Paz tonight, a day of preparation tomorrow.  Been off the smokes for a week now so hopefully that little bit of smoking induce polycythemia will help.  Gear and crampon fitting tomorrow night and then early the following morning it is off to tackle my mountain.  It is the challenge I want, I want to push myslef harder than i have ever done before - I want that summit.
