Got up around 7.30am and headed into Walmart to use their facilities. Then we had breakfast and returned to Walmart to ask for the nearest garage that does wheel alignments on larger vehicles. We were recommended AAA Car Care and so we headed off and arrived just before 9am. After describing the problem to them we booked Brian in for a front end inspection. They found a couple of things that needed doing one of which could be causing the swaying, Dean said that he could fix that later, so we paid for the half an hours labour, thanked them and headed off in search of an information centre. Luckily, as it turned out, there was one straight down the road from AAA. We parked up and walked in to find out if Portland had any training salons for hairdressers. After a discussion on how many there used to be around, but not so now, we discovered that there was one down the road just pass AAA and so we headed off in that direction. Five minutes later we were booking ourselves in for a trim for a cost of $5 each. Bargain! Half an hour or so later we were back in Brian, (being able to see clearly now the bangs had gone – for anyone who doesn't know including ourselves until recently, bangs equals fringe) and heading towards a life size chocolate moose called Lenny. Lenny was sculpted back in '97 and has been enticing visitors into Len Libby's candy store since then and the $22/lb price tag has been scaring them straight back out!Leaving the scent of chocolate behind, we drove out of Portland and along route 113, classed as a state scenic highway.
