Up at 8.30am for breakfast anchored in the middle of Icy Strait. After breakfast we went down to deck 1 where we caught the tender to the main land. Once on dry land we had a look round the canning line display in the welcome building and then went for an half hour loop walk. Back at the welcome building it was time to check in for our Zip Line ride. When we'd filled in the usual waivers, we boarded the bus that took us up to the top of a high hill. On the way up the driver gave some commentary and stopped at some lovely view points and long enough to get our camera's back out when we spotted a deer by the road. At the top we got strapped in six at a go and then we were off down the longest zip line in the world and after 90 seconds we were back at the bottom. It wasn't the thrill ride we thought it would be, but the view on the way down was stunning. Back on solid ground we had a wander to the outskirts of the town Hoonah and along the way Cat spotted a Humpback Whale not far from the ship, I managed to see it just as the tail was going in the water, we also saw a few Bald Eagles flying just above our heads
much so I had to walk around the decks for a while and then stretch my stomach out before going to bed.
