Both Diego and I had booked into the same hostel in San Rafael so we walked the few blocks from the bus station and checked in. I can't remember the name of the hostel, but it was an HI hostel and it has the smallest toilet in the world!! I'm really short and my knees and face were pressed up against the door of this one!! Then I went out to check the internet to see if Tunde had mailed me which hotel she was at - she hadn't so I went to a cafe and watched the world go by for a bit. When I got back into the internet cafe, she`d emailed and said she was going to find me at my hostel but if I wasn`t there she`d go out for dinner and leave details of how to meet the next day....that was half an hour before so I`d missed her......damn!! So I went for dinner, spent some more time on the internet and went back to the hostel. Tunde had left a note to say to meet her at her hotel in the morning so that was cool. There were a few people playing a bizarre Argentinian card game so I watched for a bit and tried to figure out what was going on...no hope!! Then I sat outside with another group of Argentinians and chatted for a bit before hitting the sack.
6th March - Met Tunde and Jose at their hotel at 10.30am, we sat in the garden and chatted and then went to book my bus ticket for later, then went for lunch....and chatted....and went for ice cream....and chatted.....and went for coffee....and chatted!! They gave me loads of tips and info about stuff to do in S. America - it was a really nice chilled out, relaxing day :o) They were catching the bus to Cordoba at 7.30pm so we said farewell and I went for a wander around town. It`s a really pleasant town, not too much to see here, but very friendly. My bus wasn`t leaving til 10.55pm so I just had dinner and spent some time on the internet until it was time to go.....
