Well I finally know what I will be doing while Casey is saving the world at EPI. I accepted a volunteer position with the Pacuare Nature Reserve. I will be a research assistant with the sea turtle program. It is located near Tortugero NP, right near where Casey will be working. She actually brings students to the reserve where I will be working. I get room and board and Casey gets to come and spend her days off with me, with some volunteer work to cover her room and board while she is there.
I will be spending a lot of time walking the beach and watching sea turtles. Should be great! I am very excited for this new experiance.
 That being said it is near the end of the first half of our time abroad. We have been traveling for about 20 weeks now and we have about 1 week left before I need to report to the Reserve for work. I canīt believe that our travels are almost over. The time has gone by so fast but it seem like forever ago that we landed in Mexico. We have been to and seen so many wonderful places it is hard to believe. The 2nd half of our trip is the work phase and we both have good jobs to look forward to.
