Today we awoke to pouring rain, thunder and lightning, the sky was black and angry. We put on our rain gear and headed for school. This week we have 4 hours a day of Spanish which will challenge our endurance for learning. Afterwards Christie and I went for another 10km run and we filled the rest of the afternoon with a trip to the laundrette and some internet browsing. I have at last found a reasonably priced two week Spanish course at Playa del Carmen in Mexico where we will head directly after our short surprise visit to Florida next week. Late afternoon we decided to treat Jody and Niamh to a trip to the cinema to see "La Era de Hielo 3" (Ice age 3). I told everyone I knew where the cinema was and after the launderette we briskly marched for about 20 minutes to where I had seen the cinema, only to find what I had actually seen was a café called 'Cinema'. Jody and Niamh circled me like Velocer Reptors about to consume their next meal  while Christie descended onto the nearest friendly looking face and was able to torture directions from him to the real cinema which luckily for me was only two blocks away. It was an interesting treat watching Ice Age 3 in Spanish, between us we could make out about 10% of the words but it was still a movie we enjoyed. 

Jodys Story
Today we had our 1st Spanish Class of the week. We had to do 4 Hours. It was very tiring. After the Spanish lessons we went back home and played for a bit. And after that we went for lunch. After that we went and saw Ice Age 3. It was good. After that we came home, had dinner and went to bed!!

Niamhs Story
Today we had 4hours of Spanish lessons, it was fun, but this time we had 2 teachers and they each had 2hours of lessons with us. Then we went home, mum and dad went for a run. Then we went to the launderette to put the washing in and had lunch. We had a pizza, cannelloni and 2 raviolis. After lunch dad, Jody and I went back to the school to get some matte, while mum waited for a dryer for the washing. After about 2 and a half hours mum got to the school and we went to the movies.

We saw LA ERA DE HEILO 3 [ICE AGE 3 in Spanish] and the language they spoke was Spanish with no subtitles. It was very funny! Then we went home had dinner and went to bed.
