Random question. If you could chose between having bad B.O. but not being bothered by bugs... or smelling good but having every bug within a square mile bite you everywhere you go every day... which would you choose? Body Odor isn't sounding so bad right now.
Bugs love me. Los Mosquitoes me encantan. Que Lastima!
Well I'm just doing a little i-neting before returning to my training site. We went on PCV visits and I stayed with a girl named Kate who was so much like me it was scary. She's pretty far out in the campo, but not too bad. She had a very safe site and seemed to be doing pretty good work, allthough there is a lot of down time, it seems. It was a very relaxing break away from training. I got some insight into a few things. The question keeps going through my head: do I REALLY want to stay here for 2 years? No. But Yes. but no. But Yes. Kate is very integrated in her community, and after seeing her interaction with her senora's, I was feeling relatively optimistic. I still have to make it through training, though. And it's tough.
That's all for now. Not too much to report.
Random thought, though, please try not to send me any e-mail attachments... the internet is SOOOOOO SLLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW and I honestly spend 50% of the time I'm at the computer waiting. Attachments don't open so well. Thanks!

GOOO LOWELLLLL!!!
So Eddie says 'Hi'. Lions won for the first time. He thinks that this is their first game onward to get the stats 11-5.... I'm not so sure... The Packers beat them!! ha! Anyways, it sounds like you are having fun down there! We were talking about you in bed last night--- oohh... just kidding! But we were talking about how 'Lowell' was doing, or what you were doing at that moment... And all Eddie wanted to tell you was that the Lions won. Umm... yea... so not too much excitement up here! Same old, same old... Work is getting crazy, and I started being a consultant for BeautiControl-- that's a line of face washes, creams, lotions, etc. I haven't sold anything, and basically I started it, cause you can have spa parties, where you get your feet soaked, and all that spa stuff... doubt it will go anywhere-- prolly just same thing when I started Cutco! ha!! Anyways, I wanna know the meat of what you are doing-- are you getting to talk to any fun people? Are you just learning, and then you go out, or are you submersed in a crazy city, where you don't know the language, and you are the minority, and there are crazy shops and mountains? Are there mountains? Is there a school system, or this is really third world, like people walking around with baskets on their heads and leaf's over their crotches?!! ha!! Tell me more about what you see over there!!! The mosquitos-- that sucks, but atleast you don't have to worry about if there is that disease with the mosquitos!! :) Anyways, I'll talk to you later-- tons more to say, but oh yea, I'm at work.... shiiiiiiiiittttttttttttt.... ha!!
Love ya! Hang in down there!! There may be times when you miss home, but seriously, there is nothing new going on! Oh wait- Megan has been running really well in Mankato for a freshman. I think the family all went down to see her. So that is the news flash. Granholm and Devos are battling for Governor. I still haven't changed my stuff over to Jasch. Just the important stuff... random.

Umm... Carrin...
Hello!?! Its been over a week, and I haven't heard any updates... yea... you must be somewhere in the campo, hanging out with aligators in the swamp land... what are you doing... Beuler??

CARIN !!! WOW, you are awesome!.... I must agree with some of the other comments. I am jealous of the life you have created for yourself. These next two years will be fantastic and from the sounds of it, maybe some of the best years. Between the people you have met and the new family you are living with... just enjoy this. Do not be scared or even have doubts. We are all here for you and supporting you with every good time and hardship ahead. It is getting near that time for me, I graduate in May, and I can barely find the time to relax anymore. The fall formal is tonight though, I will make sure we get you a picture. I hope to find a chance to write to you one day, but until then... keep up the hard work, and then I am sure you will have even more parallel's with Kate! Take care, and oh - I would choose B.O. bugs are worse - I cannot stand bugs!
