Hey kids... Ahhh... the internet. It`s pretty hi tech. Also, since the key board is different, Im not going to waste time trying to find things like apostrophes.
So, training is kind of like pledging the sorority. only sometimes I feel like Im in elementary school and other times I feel like Im writing my graduate thesis on a topic that Ive never studied. All in all, Im doing pretty well. Ups and downs... strikes and gutters. You know how it is. Our days are filled with 4 hours of language training, lunch, and then 3ish hours of tech training. Im at school by 7 45 every day and we get out around 5. today we had to be on our way by 6 30. At this time last year if someone had told me that I would be in bed by 8 30 ish every night I would have said yeah right... but here I am, doing it. I go to bed early because by the end of the night, I canīt take anymore spanish, guarani, or jopabra (which is convenitently the language they speak that combines both of the later languages) The sun sets pretty early here right now... at about 5 30... so right now. I have to try to get home before dark (yeah right!) but dont worry, Im with other trainees.
My family is awesome. I live with a mom and dad, a 12 year old bro (who, despite my lack of enthusiasm for children is awesome) a 1 year old who is completely adorable, a 25 year old sister, and her husband, who Ill just mention now is a professional futbol player in Paragauy... AND played in the world cup. We all live in the same house... I have my own room. They are so nice and generous. There is a trainee that is living on the same property as me, and his dad is really my brother. No, there is no incest going on... its all kind of in PC (Peace Corp) terms... they arent our real families anyway.
I have to try not to spend my allotted money for the 2 weeks on internet, but just know, that there are some letters in the mail. Except that I forgot to bring them to the post office today and wont be back to send them until Friday... oops. Que Traquillo!

Hola prima
Hey Carin,
Are you fluent yet? It is so fun to hear about your travels. I was lucky enough to live with a wonderful family when I was in Mexico, and it makes all the difference in the world. It is great to hear about your travels. What an awesome experience. Enjoy your time there and know that we are thinking about you way up North!
