After a day of travel, I met up with Eldon at the Lima airport in Peru.  Fortunately we found each other in the immigration line, which we then waited in for 1.5 hours.  (and VERY fortunate for me, because his flight landed like 6 min before mine, so I cut in front of about 50 people when I saw him... how very Paraguayan of me.)  We made it to our hostel in Barranco (a subburb of Lima, right on the coast) pretty late (1am) and crashed.  The next day we hung out and wandered about Barranco.  For lunch we tried the Peruvian favorite:  Ceviche. El went with the Ceviche de <insert peruvian fish here> and I went with seafood.  It was mostly raw, but some was slightly cooked.  My ceviche had squid, octopus, shrimp, mussels, scallops, and fish in it.  It was delicious, but pretty intense.

The next day we took off for Lima center.  We bought bus tickets to Puno then spent the day (before our 6pm bus) wandering around Lima. We visited the famous Lima Cathedral, Plaza de Las Armas, and the market.  We even found a park that had foosball tables set up.  Despite not having played in 20 months, I managed to "Deer in Headlights" Eldon, and won.  Somehow.

Our bus to Puno left at 6pm.
