We spent a day and night at Bryce Canyon National Park. It was a short stay here, but enough to get an eyeful of the fabulous hoodoos, the wind-eroded rock formations that Bryce is famous for, and to see a great sunset. We hiked a good part of the rim trail and got some great photos. We also saw our first western tanager--a beautiful yellow bird with black wings and a orange-red head. We didn't get any pictures of the bird here, but we have since seen quite a few and were able to snap a couple pics!
