There are two cities that I could live in them in a flash, should the opportunity ever arise. One if Prague and the other is Paris.  I love both of these cities.  They are so beautiful – in spite of graffiti, and so lovely with so much to offer.  I've been in Paris probably a dozen times and every time, I fall in love with the city all over again.  I’ve only been in Prague twice now, much to my sorrow.    I do plan to go again.

Each has many old buildings that are showing their age but are also wonderful old dowagers of their time and era.  Each has so much history and while my Czech history is not as good as my French history, I love listening to the stories and learning more with each visit.

Both have wonderful cathedrals and palaces.  You can walk for hours and each turning and new street will bring new sights to see.  The architecture is incredible in both.  As an added bonus, even in spite of what people say about "the French", we’ve always met just wonderfully friendly locals who are kind and helpful and love the fact that you love their city.  Most are happy to help even if you don't speak their language.  They love to show off their cities.

On this particular trip, we visited Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw, Prague and are now in Venice.  Of all the cities, for this trip, I have to say I like Prague the best.  Venice is a very close second but Prague has more to offer I think.  Anyone coming in this direction would miss a great opportunity if you miss Prague.
