Kuala Lumpur - the last stop before home

And then it's that time again - our bags are packed and we're off to the airport to catch the final flight home. It's so hard to believe that it's all over....next stop home!
Touch down in KL after a great flight and make our way to the hotel. We have a couple of days here to see the sights and chill out before the final flight back to the UK - how depressing! Our hotel is in a great location right next to all the hawker food stalls. We dump our bags on arrival and go in search of food. The streets are buzzing are are alive with all sorts of smells and sights - including frog porridge! We settle at one place and quickly order Tiger beer - yum! Following a recommendation from Tony I order the claypot chicken expecting something yummy. What I do get is all the parts of a chicken that were never ever meant to be eaten, for example, gibblets and feet. Get on not to badly with the old chopsticks though. The next day we succedd in finding our way to the Petronas Towers, the tallest in the world and fit in a bit of shopping obviously. Tonight we go for dinner at Bangkok Jam where I finally find something edible but poor Thomas unknowingly orders a very hot curry and spends the rest of the night sweating it out. Wander back to our hotel where Thomas gets a tad stressed out with about 1000 people offering him a very very nice massage, good discount for you!
