We visited an area today where the Southern Ocean meets the Indian Ocean, where tropical and bloody freezing collide. Also visited the Gloucester Tree today which Thomas decided to climb up but the rest of us decided not to bother as it's about 61metres high, almost vertical on wire poles for steps, pitch black and raining. Thankfully he makes it down alive and we head to the pub for a drink. Quickly realise that it is a very hick town pub and I get chatted up by man with 3 teeth, nice, very nice. We then decide to drive down the most deserted, most creepy back road you can imagine with the aim of parking up for the night. Managed to freak ourselves out with scary music before pulling up in a lay by. Then a car drives past uys, beeps the horn and carries on towards a dead end and doesn't come back up so we decide to head back in to town after convicing ourselves that the 3tooth man and his hicky mates have followed us. So we find somewhere a little safer - a dirt track in the middle of the forest.
