The following day, before heading to Busselton for the whale resuce we head down to a couple of the beaches in the Margaret River region for a bit of a splash around and trying to beat the waves, which I fail miserably at as you'll see from the photos...
wake up beside the seaside. Great to be able to step outside our campervan and the beach is just there. Take a walk along the 2km jetty in Busselton this morning where we see a banded toadfish blow up like a balloon when hooked but he survives, yeah. We hit the road and stop off at Cape Naturaliste at Geographe Bay to look for humpback whales but we don't see any. We do see two wallabies on our walking path though. We also visited the Wicked Ale Brewery in Yallingup to try some tasty chocolate beer as well as Chilli beer and bad citrus frog beer, all very nice. We drive on down to Margaret River where we park up for the night in a caravan park and play more spit while polishing of some wine and Bundy, nice.
