Arrived in Milwaukee on Tuesday 11th and booked a room in the La Quinta which is a bit like the Holiday Inn, nice and cheap!! Went to the wrong La Quinta at first which looked fairly posh, the one we were actually in was just down the road, not as fancy but still pretty nice for the price!!
The next day we went to the Harley Davidson factory (some of you may have got postcards, they were free to send!!) which was cool and free!!!! Got a tour of the factory floor and goe to see some of the newest models. They really are a cool bike!! When we came out of course we missed our bus, which was grand as a passing guy from Texas seen us and offered us a lift! His name was edward and he is an aircraft mechanic who flew up to repair some plane or other and the rest of the day to kill, so we ended up goin on the Miller Factory Tour (again some of you may have got postcards, free!!) together which was
pretty interesting and of course the best bit was the free beer at the end, nice!!!
Edward left us off at Mo's Irish Pub where we had some food guinness and cigars, yes some of the bars do allow smoking, and managed a few free drinks from a couple of the irish bar tenders so Milwaukee was pretty good to us!!!
