After departing the Powerplay we were pretty tired and had to face into the drive down to 1770 with Mick and Leanne in tow (friends of Conor's that we had met in Cairns.  By 7pm we had enough of driving and decided to stop in Rockhampton for the night.  The town was pretty busy because the Rodeo was on but we managed to score beds in a local hotel where there was a nightclub open til 5am! Had a good laugh there but not recommended to stay there more than a night!
