The spur of the moment decision, after a few drinks, to do a skydive on a saturday morning seemed like a great idea at the time!  An extreme way to keep us out of the pub on a Friday night maybe?? No because it didn't - in fact some members of the group managed to make it to the Courthouse til 6.30 in the morning and were in fine fettle for the jump by 8.30am ie 2 hours later as we set off to get the bus out to the sky dive centre an hour outside Sydney.  Thankfully the early morning drinks kept us from getting scared and backing out before we got there.  A few nerves set in when about 17 people were crammed into what could be described as a tin can of a plane where we all sat on the floor with our tandem jumper attached to us!  The scariest moment came when they opened the door of the plane 14,000 feet from the ground and the freezing air from the outside rushed into the plane!  I nearly shat myself when people started bailing out of the plane but thankfully Bill (the guy jumping with me) literally kept pushing me towards the door and I did not have time to change my mind.  One of the best experiences ever and over way to fast!
