Wild Tracks is a lovely spot – lodge/camp site, on the banks of the Zambezi under shady trees with a marvelous view. The staff is friendly and very helpful.  Silon was the chap assigned to our camp and we were delighted with his eagerness to help with everything.

The Lodge boss and manager entered the fishing competition and was not around.  Their staff did them proud.  We have grown accustomed to the sound of the Fish Eagle and the hippos in the river.  With no signal here we could not work on the blog and could just relax and enjoy.

Mike and Carlos went to Lower Zambezi Park whiles Christine and I remained in camp laying low, reading our books and eating everything in sight.  We had an afternoon nap before the men returned with cameras full of photos of all they saw

Far too many elephants, buffalo, hippos, antelope and crocodiles were on the menu.  The road was however not great and we were happy to have stayed at the camp.

The speed boat of 50 hopefuls, would come by ever so often waving at us. We still don't know who won the competition.

Very excited to be packing up the next morning, however much we enjoyed our stay, cause I would see Kariba dam for the first time today.
