Henties must be a fisherman paradise. Everything is geared towards fishing. Signposts about fishing spots everywhere. The bakkies have fishing rods carriers, It is just "unreal".
Initially, we decided to go to Jackalspit as Anita used to go there as a child with Oupa. Well, there is nothing. See the photos of the camp site. (If the wind blows, there is absolutely nothing to hold onto). So, we moved to the camp in town. (Bucks camping lodge) In terms of ablutions, Bucks Camping has it right. They provide showers, toilets and a scullery for each site. The ablution building also serves as a wind breaker on an otherwise bare site. We settled in and had a good sleep.

The next day we went around town, bought a few things and moved on to Cape Cross, Mile 108 camp and St Nowhere Spa.
