Mike, I agree with you! Coffee Bay seems to be quite the spot for our Jamaican fans . The JAH Drum Inn for instance is a dead giveaway.

But Coffee Bay has one beautiful spot, the cliffs just up the hill towards "hole in the wall".

Hole in the wall is definitely a place to see.  Anita went mad with the camera. The hotel is situated right on the beach. A lovely big flat beach. The Hotel (or self catering establishment) is well appointed. They have a restaurant with a basic menu and a bar for the thirsty fisherman.   There is no “camp site” as such to speak of. We basically just camped next to a chalet. They gave us a key to the ablution (with the best HOT shower so far).

By the way, locals are not allowed to enter hotel premises. (Noticed this in other places too). They supplied a braai but no dustbin and this caused the resident dogs to become a hassle. Also, on a long weekend it becomes very congested and loud with bikes and four wheelers.  Pity.

The “hole” is a walk away.  Beautiful!! Well worth it. The day we were there it was quite hazy, so the photos are not that hot.
