After arriving at the place, everything happened so fast that we didn't have time to be nervous. After putting on the rather fetching all on one suit, we were introduced to the professional skydivers who we were to be strapped to. Of course the very first question we asked them was how many jumps they had done. It's reassuring when they say over 2000!We were the first jump of the day and because of the weather, it was the first jump for a week. It was absolutely amazing freefalling through the air and we were adrenaline fuelled for the rest of the day! We caught it all on dvd so I never think we'll tire of watching it! Ended up going out for dinner with a few of the skydivers, which was a nice way to end the day.
Tomorrow we move from Rotorua to Waitomo, our final stop before heading back to Auckland on Monday for the night and then flying back. The last days will be spent soaking up as much sun and heat as we can before heading back to freezing temperatures!
