Last night, the builders were in fine form. They must have decided that they would have a little sing a long complete with a drum and tambourine. Don't have a clue where these appeared from, but they were singing their hearts out until 1030 outside my bedroom window! At least they were fairly tuneful! At one point they were also plying an instrument that sounded very similar to bagpipes - I guess we'll never know what it was!
The builders had to come to our rescue this morning. Mark managed to lock his key in his room, and it was the spare key as the original had broken. After the builders trying in vain to pick the lock for 30minutes, they decided the best way forward would be to go onto the roof and into the room through the ceiling. This took them all of 5minutes! So we were slightly late for Sunday School, but were able to slip in quietly.
Church finished at the rather early hour today of 11am, so after a wonder through the market, we went to the Peacock for lunch.
