Well, I have just eaten a large breakfast using the strategy that if you eat a big breakfast you don't need lunch.A strategy that falls apart by lunch time!
I enjoyed a day of exploring this pretty town yesterday. The beauty is that it is not too big and I didn't get too lost. There are some pretty amazing shops! Fortunately for the credit card,a lot are alpine shops and I don't have a lot of need for mountain climbing equipment and thick jackets in Brisbane
Innsbruck is surrounded by high mountains. In the morning it was overcast, but by afternoon the mist had lifted and revealed the high peaks. I took a cable car about a third of the way up one mountain and was abletoenjoy the stunning view....and a coffe and strudel to fit in with the theme.
I think I saw a lot of the significant buildings and was impressed by how clean and well presented it all was
Today, I plan to see some more..
I called into Aldi in the afternoon ( they call it Hofer here) and bought a punnet of fresh raspberries and yogurt for my dinner...yum!!
Auf Wiedersehen.......
