Today the day started at the Animal Kingdom Lodge which is a much fancier and expensive hotel than the one we're staying at. We had a booking at Boma: Flavours of Africa for breakfast.

It was an all-you-can eat buffet which seems to be the go for most places for breakfast here. I was most excited about the M&M pancakes.

We headed over to the Animal Kingdom park after that. We walked around a bit and headed to the biggest, scariest ride ("Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain") and got a Fast Pass (a pass that lets you return later with minimal waiting time).

"Primeval Whirl" was the first ride on the list and that was a fun little spinning coaster.

We walked through many trails where we saw heaps of different animals, and my least favourite, birds.

We went on a cool ride called "DINOSAUR" where we rode in a jeep and ran away from dinosaurs and meteroid showers. It was like the famous Indiana Jones ride.

We saw the "Finding Nemo Musical" which was very cute and amazing. The puppets were unreal. It was a very shortened version of the movie.

We headed back to the Everest ride and went on that. It was a speedy coaster that I wasn't expecting. Very cool but a little nausea inducing.

It was then time for some lunch and we had some noodles and honey chicken. Yum.

It was time for the safari in Africa which I was looking forward to. It's open range and you take these big buses (that definately need new suspension) that are open and a tour guide tells you little facts here and there. I was very suprised how close some of the animals were. We were METRES away from rhinos. They're super dangerous! There were giraffes arms length away. I didn't think we'd see lions and tigers because was all open, how could the animals live together? But sure enough, we did. They seperate the animals with ditches and they all have their own little areas. I'm still convinced that if a lion wanted to, it would jump right over and nab a zebra on the butt for dinner.

We went up to an area called "Rafiki's Planet Watch" where we saw reptiles, bugs, an animal hospital, met Rafiki himself and saw a teeny, tiny owl. Although I don't like birds, I like owls. And ducks.

It was then time for the parade so we found a spot and parked our bums. After the parade, we saw the "Festival of the Lion King" which was a singing, dancing, acrobatics and puppet show. Very awesome.

The parked closed up at 5pm so we headed back to the hotel for a nap.

For dinner we went to the Epcot center, which was open until 11pm for resort quests, and had dinner at Restaurant Marrakesh. It was a Moroccan restaurant in the "Morocco" part of Epcot (well, duh). Epcot is split up into heaps of countries; from Germany to Italy, France and the UK.

Dinner was delicious and we definitely ate too much.

So it wasn't the best idea to go on the "Mission: SPACE" ride, a simulator in which you blast off into space. It felt very real and was definitely the biggest vomit inducer for the day.

It's fair to say after that, we went back to the hotel.

We'll explore the rest of Epcot tomorrow!
